Editor, unlike some other level editors, allows you to create and edit
levels right on your calculator. To find out how to create and edit
your own levels read on.

     2) Run prgmSKIEDIT

IV. THE TITLE SCREEN:

In the Slopes Level Editor there are two options, "New" and
"Edit". You can highlight either option using the up and down arrows,
and select it by pressing 2nd. For more information on each option read
on. To quit at the title screen press Clear.

V. CREATING A NEW LEVEL:

The Slopes Level Editor allows you to create a new level right on
the calculator. The first step in creating a new level is to choose
"New" from the menu by pressing 2nd. The program will now prompt you
for a name. Enter each letter using the up and down arrows. Select a
letter by pressing 2nd. Remember each name is three letters long, and
each level is exactly 1558 bytes in size. If you do not have enough
space on your calculator for a new level, you will not be able to
create one. When you are finished entering the name you will move into
the editing window. To find out more about editing move on to the next
section.

VI. EDITING A LEVEL:

Slopes comes with one level. You can edit it, but remember, if you
do you aren't really beating it! One other important thing to remember
about editing is that the high score for that level is automaticaly
reset to zero (so don't use it to cheat!).
To edit a level, select "Edit" from the menu by pressing down,
then 2nd. Use Alpha to change the level, and 2nd to select it. When
editing use all four arrows to move around the cursor. The cursor is
represented by the currently selected item. To change this item use
Alpha. Your options are blank, grass, tree, small rock, large rock, and
gate. To place an item press 2nd. Once you are done you can press Clear
to return to the title screen. You can play your new level by exiting
the Slopes Level Editor, running Slopes, and selecting your level.
